International Dual-Track Education: “Music Expertise, Music Literacy”

There are significant differences in the positioning of music education pathways across regions: in China, music is often treated as a vocational/career track, leading many learners to step away from it once non-professional paths are chosen; in Europe and the United States, music is regarded as a core competency-building pathway, so investment and emphasis in music education are continuously strengthened; at top-tier universities, music serves as an interdisciplinary connecting pathway, with greater efforts made to integrate it with other academic and creative fields.

FaceArt’s distinctive dual-track education model emphasizes both the advancement of professional performance skills and the cultivation of comprehensive artistic literacy. For professional development, we provide one-on-one refined instruction: senior faculty design individualized training programs tailored to each student’s strengths and characteristics, targeting targeted improvements in performance technique. For holistic profile enrichment, students are guided to participate in international competitions, professional recitals, public welfare projects and other high-level activities, helping them build a unique and compelling artistic portfolio.

A notable example is a student who successfully gained admission to Stanford University through Early Action in 2023. Under the guidance of FaceArt, he not only elevated his piano performance to an exceptional level but also developed a distinct personal profile through diverse artistic engagements, ultimately distinguishing himself from a large pool of competitive applicants.

Integration of Innovative Technology and Art

In the digital era, FaceArt has taken the lead in exploring the deep integration of music education with technology, as well as cross-disciplinary fusion between music, visualization technologies and extended reality (XR) technologies, providing students with cutting-edge artistic creation experiences.

Strategic Cooperation Cross-Border Communication

FaceArt has established a partnership with Chumang Cultural Media for joint event planning and communications, building a high-quality platform for students to gain mainstream media exposure and cross-domain promotion, and helping them showcase their abilities and expand their influence. In the public welfare art exhibition Love in Diversity held at an art museum and curated by Chumang Cultural Media, the collaborative audio-visual artworks created by FaceArt students were collected by the art museum and promoted through its platforms, receiving widespread media attention and critical acclaim.

Training Model

Characteristic Training Model

FaceArt adheres to personalized guidance, assigning senior tutors to each student to design exclusive learning plans, which are dynamically adjusted according to the learning progress. We have established an international exchange platform, providing students with international performance opportunities including those at the Vienna Golden Hall through regular masterclasses. In addition, we hold teacher-student concerts every year at professional venues such as the Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Hall, and Shanghai Conservatory of Music Opera House, allowing students to grow through practice.

Social Responsability

Social Responsibility and Public Welfare Activities

FaceArt has always upheld the social responsibility of educators and is committed to cultivating a new generation of musicians with humanistic care. All proceeds from the charity concerts we hold every year are donated to animal rescue centers, enabling students to experience the social value of music through practice. We have participated in the Chenshan Nature Life Festival co-hosted by Chenshan Botanical Garden and Classic 947, holding a special “Greenhouse Concert” that innovatively combines technology and art to promote environmental protection concepts. The continuous development of public welfare projects such as “Pet Concerts” not only cultivates students’ social responsibility, but also makes music a bridge connecting hearts.
