FaceArt Academy of Music and Technology
FaceArt was co-founded by Dr. Jenny Q Chai, a graduate mentor at the Curtis Institute of Music and Professor of Piano at Bard College, together with Piotr Tomasz, an alumnus of The Juilliard School of Music.
Over the past fifteen years, FaceArt has upheld its core philosophy: “The value of music lies in a broader vision.” It organically integrates the systematicity of Western music education with the rigor of Eastern educational traditions, and incorporates cutting-edge science and technology to realize intermedia musical art. The school is committed to nurturing a new generation of interdisciplinary musical talents equipped with solid performance skills and artistic creativity.
Through systematic training and extensive artistic practice, FaceArt helps students develop leadership, cultivate aesthetic sensibility and shape their characters. Music thus becomes a hallmark of their individuality and creativity, as well as a key to gaining admission to world-renowned universities and conservatories.
School Achievements
Students of FaceArt have consistently achieved outstanding results on the international stage, accumulating nearly 500 awards and honors in international music competitions. Notably, over 50 students have successfully gained admission to world-renowned institutions, including top comprehensive universities such as Stanford University, Princeton University, Yale University, and Columbia University; prestigious music conservatories like the Curtis Institute of Music and The Juilliard School; as well as leading arts high schools such as Interlochen Arts Academy and Walnut Hill School for the Arts in the United States. After enrolling in these distinguished institutions, students are free to choose any major and are not limited to music-related fields.
